Kurdish Asayish Forces Impose a Total Curfew in Hasakah and Qamishlo in Conjunction with the Arrival of a Security Delegation from the Interim Authority

The Internal Security Forces (Kurdish Asayish Forces) announced, in an official statement, the imposition of a total curfew on Monday in the city of Hasakah and on Tuesday in the city of Qamishlo. This comes as a security delegation from the Interim Authority’s forces is scheduled to arrive in both cities to complete the procedures of the agreement concluded between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Interim Authority led by Ahmad al-Sharaa “al-Julani”.

In its statement, the Asayish Forces said: the Internal Security Forces announce the imposition of a total curfew in:

The city of Hasakah, on Monday, 2/2/2026, from six o’clock in the morning (06:00) until six o’clock in the evening (06:00).

The city of Qamishlo, on Tuesday, 3/2/2026, from six o’clock in the morning (06:00) until six o’clock in the evening (06:00).

The statement noted that this decision comes within the framework of maintaining security, stability, and the safety of residents, stressing the necessity for citizens to adhere to the content of the decision and comply with the issued instructions. Legal measures will be taken against anyone who violates it.

Earlier, the Internal Security Commander affiliated with the Interim Authority in Aleppo Governorate, Colonel Mohammad Abdul Ghani, conducted a field visit to the city of Kobani. Media outlets affiliated with the Interim Authority stated that the visit came as part of the preparatory steps to implement the agreement concluded between the state and the SDF, which includes the entry of Internal Security Forces into the city and the implementation of the agreed security deployment plan.

During the visit, a meeting was held inside the city with leaders from the “SDF”, during which the mechanism for the entry of the Internal Security Forces and the arrangements for the field implementation of the agreement were discussed.
