A group of Kurdish artists and cultural figures have arrived in Rojava in an initiative carrying a message of solidarity with the popular resistance and support for the general mobilization, affirming that art stands alongside the people’s resilience and their will for freedom, according to the Kurdish Hawar News Agency.
A select group of Kurdish artists—men and women—arrived in Rojava in a move aimed at supporting the popular resistance and participating in the general mobilization.
Their presence comes as an expression of solidarity with the people of the region and an affirmation of the role of art in strengthening the spirit of resilience and resistance. The artists emphasized that their artistic message carries humanitarian and national dimensions that accompany the people’s sacrifices and reflect their will for freedom and coexistence.
The delegation includes: artist Diyar Yashar (Diyar Dersim), Ibrahim Jalak (Hozan Shemdrin), artist Gulbahar Rahim (Jala), artist Luqman Salem Fattah, footballer Deniz Naki, journalist Daniel Jamali, artist Renas Lezgin Saadi, and writer Kakshar Khurshid.
The delegation is scheduled to visit artistic and cultural institutions, as well as forces, parties, and social and political organizations.
