The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on Tuesday evening the conclusion of a security operation targeting cells affiliated with the terrorist organization ISIS, following an armed attack against their forces in the neighborhoods of Al-Ghwayran and Al-Nashwa in the city of Al-Hasakah.
According to a statement issued by the SDF Media Center, ISIS militants carried out the attack using medium and light weapons. SDF forces successfully repelled the assault and launched a pursuit operation against the perpetrators.
The operation resulted in the arrest of three members of the ISIS cells involved in the attack.
The SDF urged civilians to adhere to safety instructions and report any suspicious movements, reaffirming their ongoing efforts to maintain security and stability in the area.
