An informed source told Al-Youm TV that the process of integrating the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) into the Syrian army is expected to be completed within a month, following the completion of military arrangements and the resolution of outstanding administrative issues, including the issue of displaced persons.
The source said that military preparations have reached an advanced stage, with efforts underway to form brigades comprising SDF fighters in Hasakah Governorate and the Kobani area.
According to the source, the dissolution of the SDF and the Autonomous Administration is expected to be announced following the completion of the provisions of the January 29 agreement. However, several issues remain unresolved and require further understandings between the parties.
The source noted that the military and administrative integration process is proceeding in accordance with the provisions of the January 29 agreement, despite the persistence of some obstacles, stressing that both sides are working to overcome them and complete the implementation of the agreement.
