Several cities in Rojava (northern Syria)—including al-Hasakah, Tel Tamer, Qamishli, Amuda, Derik, and Darbasiyah—witnessed mass demonstrations as part of the activities marking the “Global Support for Rojava” day. The protests emphasized the unity of the Kurdish ranks, called for the realization of the legitimate rights of the Kurdish people in Syria, and demanded an end to the attacks carried out by the de facto authority in the country, led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.
