Virtual social media platforms witnessed demands to add the Kurdish name to the sign, alongside calls to organize a protest rally to demand its correction.
Following this, the Directorate of Post modified the sign today and included the name “Çil Axa” in the Kurdish language, a step that was welcomed by the local residents.
