The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Transitional Authority published a post on its X account stating that the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, received a delegation from the Kurdish National Council (ENKS) in Damascus, headed by Mohammed Ismail.
According to the ministry, the meeting emphasized the unity and territorial integrity of Syria, within the framework of preserving a unified Syria in land and people. During the meeting, al-Shaibani stressed the rights of Kurdish citizens in Syria, in a manner that strengthens the principle of equal citizenship and preserves their cultural and social particularities within a unified Syria.
For its part, the delegation of the Kurdish National Council welcomed Presidential Decree No. /13/, considering it an important step toward securing Kurdish rights.
