They confirmed their presence in a mountainous area near the village of Haji Omaran, adjacent to the border crossing between the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and Eastern Kurdistan (northwestern Iran). They noted that running out of water and food has exacerbated their humanitarian situation, demanding urgent intervention to rescue them and secure a safe passage out of the area.
