A Life Dedicated to Art and Cause

Throughout his career, he embraced the message of “committed art,” utilizing his voice and melodies as a means to express his people’s identity and causes.
The Movement highlighted that Agirî was not merely an artist, but a cultural activist who contributed to the founding of the “Agirî” musical group. This ensemble represented a prominent milestone in the journey of “resistance art,” through which he presented works embodying the spirit of the Kurdish people and the values of freedom and dignity.
Legacy of “Abu Siamand”
