Kurdish Citizen Killed While Attempting to Leave Raqqa
The Kurdish citizen Sadiq Bozan was killed by forces of the “Syrian Arab Army /al-Jolani Regime” while attempting to leave the city of Raqqa, on the al-Hazima road north of the city.
According to available information, Bozan was directly targeted while trying to flee in search of safety. He was shot while riding his agricultural tractor in the Al-Hazimaarea, resulting in his immediate death.
In a related context, the victim’sbrother-in-law wrote on his Facebook page:
“His only crime was that he was Kurdish and wanted to live in peace,”
adding, “We will not forget, and we will not forgive.”
This incident follows the killing of a family of five from the village of Kork in the northeastern countryside of Kobani, who were also attempting to leave Raqqa after the city fell under the control of the “Syrian Arab Army /al-Jolani Regime.”
