SDF: Three Civilians Injured as Damascus Factions Escalate Attacks in Al-Hasakah Countryside and Kobani
The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) reported that three civilians were injured after a drone operated by Damascus-affiliated factions shelled the village of Al-Milaybiya in the southern countryside ofAl-Hasakah.
According to the statement, clashes are ongoing in the village of Al-Safa, south of Jal Agha, where Damascus factions advanced into the area earlier today and launched multiple drone strikes, resulting in civilian injuries.
Meanwhile, the factions continue heavy shelling on the villages of Khirab Ashk and Al-Jalabiya, southeast of Kobani, following repeated attempts to storm the villages. This escalation coincides with intense surveillance flights by Turkish reconnaissance aircraft over the area.
The statement also noted that Khirab Ashk had previously witnessed a massacre against the Bozan family, leaving five people killed and five others wounded due to intense bombardment.
The SDF Media Center emphasized that Damascus factions have violated the ceasefire agreement more than 20 times so far, underscoring an ongoing policy of escalation and continued attacks on civilians and residential areas.
