Dozens of massacres committed against the Alawite community in Latakia, its countryside, and other areas of the Syrian coast have been documented. These atrocities were carried out by forces affiliated with the transitional authority in Syria, led by Ahmed Al-Shar’a (Al-Jolani), on March 7, 2025.
