Three Kurdish young men from the same family (brothers) and a member of the General Security were injured by gunmen’s gunfire in the vicinity of Al-Sina’a traffic circle in the city of Hasakah, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

According to the Observatory, the party that targeted them or the circumstances surrounding the injuries remain unknown so far, with no confirmation of whether their injuries are linked to the clashes witnessed in the area.

These developments come alongside restrictions on movement between a number of the city’s neighborhoods, and attempts by security forces to prevent crowds that emerged from the Arab-majority Ghuwayran neighborhood from reaching Kurdish-majority areas, amid fears of the scope of tension widening and its impact on civil peace in Hasakah.
