Today, the “Radio Rojava” team was targeted by armed attackers while performing their journalistic work in the Al-Salhiyah neighborhood of the city of Al-Hasakah, resulting in one team member sustaining injuries and being transferred to the hospital for treatment.
In a statement published on its official Facebook page, the radio station reported that the injured staff member underwent surgery, noting that their health condition is now stable and good.
The statement added that during the incident, the attackers stole the team’s vehicle, while video footage documented the vehicle theft itself.
