The Health Committee Begins Implementing the Integration Mechanism in Al-Hasakah and Confirms the Reinstatement of Those Dismissed for Political and Security Reasons

The committee tasked by Governor Nour al-Din Ahmed has officially commenced its work following the approval of the integration mechanism in the health sector in Al-Hasakah Governorate, northeastern Syria. The committee was present yesterday at Qamishli Hospital and began implementing the organizational action plan at the Health Directorate, according to a statement issued by the Al-Hasakah Governorate’s press office.

The statement explained that the initial steps included distributing and formalizing the administrative structure for employees, and reorganizing medical and administrative staff in accordance with the specializations approved by the Health Directorate, in a manner consistent with the requirements and needs of health centers and hospitals across the governorate.

According to the statement, the committee affirmed that employees who were dismissed during the era of the former regime for political and security reasons are entitled to return to their jobs, provided they place themselves at the disposal of the Health Directorate to complete reinstatement procedures, with the aim of benefiting once again from their accumulated expertise in the health sector.

The statement also noted that all Autonomous Administration employees working in the health sector will be incorporated into the new structure. The distribution of staff across health centers and hospitals in various areas of Al-Hasakah Governorate will be carried out according to criteria based on academic qualifications, years of experience, and field of specialization.

As part of efforts to enhance preparedness and emergency response, the statement indicated that an ambulance was dispatched to Area 47, where coordination took place to transfer a number of individuals injured in a traffic accident, through joint cooperation between Al-Hasakah Hospital and Al-Shaddadi Hospital.

In a related context, the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, General Mazloum Abdi, affirmed yesterday, Tuesday, that the implementation of the integration agreement with the Syrian government is moving forward, with practical steps being taken to consolidate the ceasefire and integrate institutions and forces. He simultaneously warned of escalating hate speech and stressed that the primary objective is “to ensure the success of the agreement and to entrench lasting peace.”

Abdi further indicated that the agreement signed on January 29, 2026, with Damascus has achieved tangible progress, stating: “In general, we can say that we are moving forward with the implementation of the agreement.”
