9 Members of the Komala Revolutionary Organization of the Toilers of Kurdistan of Iran Killed in Iranian Regime Rocket Attack in Sulaymaniyah

In an official toll, the Komala Revolutionary Organization of the Toilers of Kurdistan of Iran announced the death of nine of its members due to a rocket attack by the Iranian regime in Sulaymaniyah, in the Kurdistan Region.

The organization stated in a press release that the attack occurred as a result of intense rocket bombardment targeting several bases and camps around Zargwezleh at approximately 6:00 AM, where members of the Komala Peshmerga tragically lost their lives. The names of the martyrs are:

• Farhad Qamari (Divandarreh)

• Soroush Nasri (Marivan)

• Sina Safari (Shabad)

• Yasin Kianpour (Shazand)

• Ahmad Mahmoudi (Baneh)

• Reza Sadeghi (Bukan)

• Kasra Rahmaninejad (Bukan)

• Siawan Nikikha (Bukan)

• Zakaria Faqih Hassan Agha (Bukan)

The Kurdistan Region Security Institution announced on Friday that three areas in Sulaymaniyah province were targeted in an attack involving seven rockets. The institution confirmed that its specialized teams are continuing field investigations to determine the extent of human and material losses.

The institution clarified in its statement that the attack occurred at 6:20 AM, with four rockets targeting Zargwezleh village, while one rocket fell on Qasrdi village and two rockets targeted the area near Tal Kobani in Qaradagh district. So far, no official tally has been released regarding casualties or material damages.

On another front, the Counter-Terrorism Service in the Kurdistan Region announced in an official statement that International Coalition forces intercepted and shot down eight explosive-laden drones over the city of Erbil between 04:19 and 05:25 AM on Friday, with no human injuries reported.

These developments come amid rising security tensions in the region following violent military exchanges between Washington and Tehran.
